We provide tailored financial tools, legal, accounting, and development consulting services, empowering local leaders and residents. Dan Ohler is a devoted husband, father, entrepreneur, community builder, and long-time advocate of the co-op model. He played a crucial role in incorporating the Sangudo Opportunity Development Co-operative (SODC) in 2010, Canada’s first of its kind, and has since collaborated with ACCA to develop the transformative Unleashing Local Capital program. Dan has shared his insights on investment co-ops in numerous communities across Western Canada, the Yukon, and the USA, inspiring the formation of many such initiatives. He also supports new and existing Community Investment Co-ops, including the Vermilion Community Development Co-operative and the Homestead Investment Co-op in Edmonton. Additionally, Dan is a Founding Board member of Community Capital Solutions Co-operative and a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation.

Elliot Bridgewater exemplifies the co-operative spirit through empathy, transparency, and a dedication to simplifying complex legal processes. A visionary leader in the sector, Elliot played a pivotal role in establishing the Water Valley Community Investment Co-op, uniting the community to collectively purchase and operate their local hardware store. Beyond Water Valley, his efforts as a member of ACCA are focused on co-operative start-up formation and governance, advancing the co-op model across Alberta.
Elliot Bridgewater, founder of Oemichen Bridgewater LLP, is a respected speaker, educator, and advocate for co-operative development. He teaches co-operative advocacy at the University of Calgary, inspiring the next generation of leaders. As a lawyer and member of the Alberta Law Society, Elliot provides legal services to co-operatives across Canada, specializing in civil litigation, corporate and commercial law, and securities.
In addition to his legal work, Elliot serves as a Director of Calgary Co-op, one of North America's largest consumer co-operatives. His extensive experience and leadership further underscore his dedication to fostering sustainable, community-driven solutions, solidifying his impact on Alberta's co-operative landscape.

Corinne Remple is the Executive Director of the Alberta Community and Co-operative Association (ACCA), where she leads efforts to strengthen Alberta's co-op sector by enhancing member services, fostering organizational growth, and creating new energy within the community.
ACCA played a pivotal role in developing Community Capital Solutions Co-op (CCS), a real-world solution to address the economic challenges communities across Western Canada face. Corinne’s vision and advocacy for co-operatives as vehicles for financial resilience and empowerment have positioned CCS as a real-world solution to foster local growth.
